In 1995, four tribes lodged overlapping native title claims across the Bundaberg Region, spanning from Gladstone to the Auburn Range near Monto and the Burrum River – covering 19,500 square kilometres of land and 26,600 square kilometres of sea. It would be 17 years before the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang Bunda peoples would formally meet. In 2016, all four tribes joined forces and successfully established one united corporation – the PCCC. In 2017 native title consent was achieved.

Since Consent, the PCCC Ltd has provided administrative and operational support to the First Nations Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, Taribelang People Aboriginal Corporation RNTPBC (PBC). PCCC Ltd has various programs and a strong model for delivering successful and sustainable programs for PCCC people and supports community, social and economic development programs that are delivered by the people, for the people.
